Jewish History

Imagine that you return in time about four thousand (4000) years to the start of the Jewsih History the "fathers time" – Abraham, Isaac and Yaakov were the fathers of the Jewish people.

The fathers

Abram (he was named Abram until the g-od did an alliance with him then he was named Abraham) was a normal kid when he started to search who is the real g-od. He found out that Hashem is the real god and teach his village his ways. He married to Sary (before the alliance).
One night Hashem came to Abraham in his dream. He said to him that he must leave his country (Ur Kasdim) and he must go to the land of Knan (Israel). Abraham was aged 75 years old. Abraham travel to Elon More in Knan (next to Scheme).Abraham was put to ten hard tests from Hashem in aim to show the powerful Hashem's loving and fearing. One of them was jumping to a burning furnace and didn't bowing down to idols, he needed to do circumcision in aging 99 years old.escape from Egypt

Abraham was known in his hospitality. He built a massive tent in Beer Sheva and a lot of people came to visit, he gave them food and drink. They had to bless Hashem about the meal or to pay a lot of money.Tree (3) days after the circumcision (the most painful day) he sat outside the tent and searched after visitors, the day was the hottest day in the world, and no one was on the way so Hashem send angels to visit Abraham's tent.
The angels appear in human shape and Abraham gave them food and water. When they came to leave they blessed Abraham for a baby. Abraham and Sara were very old to give birth to a born child, Abraham was one hundred (100) years old and Sara was ninety (90) years old. Sara also was barren and she can't bear a child. However Hashem did a miracle, and in Rosh Hashana after some month Isaac was born.

After thirty seven (37) years, one day (Kipor day) Hashem said to Abraham to do a very big experience, to kill his lovely son Isaac. Hashem target was to see if Abraham really loves Hashem. Abraham took his boy Isaac to Moria Mountain. Abraham started to prepare for the killing but before the killing, Hashem stopped Abraham and told him that he past the test.
Sara passed away and Abraham bought the Machpela cave and buried Sara.
Abraham said to his slave to bring for Isaac woman from Abraham's family. The slave came to Abraham village and wanted to drink beer. He met Rivka, she gave him and his camels to drink. He talked with her family and toke her to Isaac. Abraham passed away and Isaac buried him next to Sara.

The second father Isaac

Isaac was married to Rivka and she was barren. they prayed to Hashem to bring them a child and they eventually they got twins Esav and Yaakov. at the end of his life Isaac was blinded.

The Tired father - Yaakov

Yaakov had four (4) wives and twelve (12) sons and one daughter. The names of his wives were: Leah, Rachel, Bilaha and Zilpa.

The names of his children:
• Rewoven
• Shimon
• Levy
• Yehoda
• Issachar
• Zvolon
• Gad
• Asher
• Josef
• Binyamin
• Dan
• Naphtali

In his life, Yaakov had a lot of Troubles. One of his Troubles was the Persecution of his own brother, in order to kill him, his in-laws cheated on him and his favorite son Josef disappeared and in the land of Israel there was a great Hunger.

His brother persecuted him because his he thought Yakkov stole his blessing for Heshem.
His in-laws cheated on him. Yakkov run to Harran and there he saw Rachel. He wanted to marry her so he work for her father for seven years. His in laws Lavan (was from Rivka's family) cheated him and gave Rachel's big sister to marry him. Yakkov worked to Lavan for seven years more and he got to merry Rachel.
His son Josef ferried to Egypt. He was slave'd in Potifar house. Potifar's wife loved Josef and Josef couldn't betray his owner. Potifar's wife caused Josef to go to jail.
Two years after Paroho, the king of Egypt dreamed and he can't solve the dream. Josef solved the dream for him. The dream talked about a great hunger, the great hunger started after seven years and lest for seven years. Josef appointed to be Viceroy and responsible to collecting food.
After seven years the hunger appeared in the world but in Egypt there was food. The entire world came to buy food Including Yaakov and his family. Josef found out to his family that he is Josef and his family went to Egypt.

The escape from Egypt

Part two of the Jewsih History was the Escape from Egypt.
This part is very important in the Jewsih History. This escape affects the entire world. This changes the world history and the Jewsih History.
Yakkov and the family went to live in the country of Goshen. When Yaakov and his children and his small family passed away, Parho the king of Egypt ordered Bney Israel to work for him. two hundred and ten(210) years the slaving lest. The slaving was hard and the Egyptians hit the Jewish people and killed them.
Paroho was worried of Bney Israel escapes from his country. his magicians said to kill there babies; there boys was thrown to the Yehor (river)and the girls wasn't. In one house, one baby escaped from the Egyptians, this house was Amram and Yochevet house, Yochevet had that child for three (3) months and after that she made for him a little canoe to be save him when he goes to the Yehor, and his sister protected him.

The Parho's daughter, Batya, found the baby in the Yehor, Moshe. She took him to the Egyptian foster mother, but he didn't want to drink from her. She took him to the Egyptians foster mother but he didn't want to drink from her. His sister Miryam said to Batya to give him to a nother woman (to his real mother).
After Moshe grown he saw an Egyptian hit one of the Jewish men, his mind was fill with anger and he killed the Egyptian, Parho heard what happened and wanted to kill Moshe. Moshe run to Midyan (next country) and there he help to a group of girls to give water to their sheep. They said to their father how he help them and he gave Moshe to live and Busied Moshe shepherds. Moshe then married to Chipora the daughter of Itro.

In one of the weeks, one young goat escaped for him. He ran after him and got it next to a river. He saw a burning bush and the fire did not consume it. That was a miracle; Hashem talked to him and told him to go and help Bney Israel.
Hashem hit the Egyptians ten (10) illness. The 10 illness was:

1. Blood – the water became blood
2. Frogs
3. Lice
4. A lot of danger animals – bears, lions, snakes, tigers…
5. Magician of plague
6. Variola
7. Hail
8. Locust
9. Darkness
10. and the last of them was Hashem killing all the first sons of Egypt

After the last illness Paroho was scared from Bney Israel. He Removed them from his country. But they regretted him and decided to run after Bney Israel and to slave them again. Hashem then decided to step in for them and to do some miracles like the red sea divided and Israel past and then the sea closed right back and the Egyptian drowned and died while trying to run after Beny Israel.

Sinai Mountain (see "shavuot")

After Beny Israel escaped from Egypt they came to Mountain Sinai to get the Tora from Hashem.Moshe on Sinai Mountain
This is the most important part of the Jewsih History and legacy. This part is the start of the Jewish religion and the Jewish tradition. This was a giant vision of lights and the sounds coming out from the Mountain and the Hashem appeared in the Mountain and gave the Tora to Beny Israel.
From now they were the Jewish people.

The difference between any other religions is that the Jewish religion started with a public vision and the other religions start with a single vision (their opinions)
After forty (40) years the Israelis enter the land of Israel and return to control it.
All the forty (40) years Hashem gave Israelis food and water from beers.

Coming to the land of Israel

After forty (40) years they come to Israel and the 4 part of the Jewsih History was in Israel.
Moshe couldn't go to Israel and his student Yehosoha Ben Non did came to Israel. Israel fought with thirty one (31) kings and won and the country of Israel was divided to the people to Inheritance.
After Yehosoha, there was a lot of leader that didn't leave in the country and the last one was Shmo'el. in his life the Israelis wanted a king. The first king was Shaol the second king was David and the tired king was Shlomo. That was another part of the Jewsih History.
In life, Shlomo build the holy Beit HaMikdash. In Beit HaMikdash there was always ten (10) miracles and Hashem "lived" in this house.
After Shlomo, came Rehavaham, in his life the kingdom was divided. Rehavaham wanted to control very hard and the people didn't want, so they rebelled and Yerovaham controlled ten (10) tribes and Rehavaham got two (2) tribes.
